First, today's run. I got going early enough to drop off the dog after our 1 mile run/walk/sniff and take a half mile run solo. Enough for now...my shins are starting to hurt today. I guess that is a clue to cool it here. I can't wait for camping this weekend and running on non-concrete surfaces!

Second, my adorable Micah climbed onto my lap this morning and snuggled up to me. I love his little warm body in the morning and his sleepy-eyed "I love you"s can't be beat! He turned his precious face to mine and in his most serious tone (which all 3-year olds have) said, "Mom, if you just break my neck and take it off, off, and off, there might be batteries in there. And then you can play your own game of Lego Star Wars." I am still trying to find the connection in his little brain. Amazing that this is the same boy who told a friend last night "That didn't bother me at all." when he got his head hit with a laser gun. Hmm...maybe that gun did do some damage after all!
